“Eating organic fruits and vegetables can lower exposure to pesticides, including for children — but the amount measured from conventionally grown produce was within safety limits, the researchers reported Monday.”

Organic foods cost a pretty penny more than the conventional variety, but people’s jean pockets don’t clink that kind of change nowadays. That’s way too expensive. We fall in suit with the mentality that it is okay to expose ourselves to the government-pumped safety limits, but when it comes to sparing an extra two to four quarters per pound, or often less, we fall victim to the belief that these prices are outlandish. That a few extra rounded Washingtons is more important than longterm health.

You’re being nickel and dimed every single day by society’s rules and regulations that allow you to be modern. To be normal. To fit in. To have a hospital bed ready for you as needed. All hefty in price. All hidden in the mundane concern we entertain. This study is nothing short of propaganda. Something to skew the view and send us further astray. It is not normal to lather our foods with poison!

They compare conventional produce from afar to the produce grown locally. They compare organically grown produce to farmer-I-don’t-give-a-shit’s produce. They write about organic meat and milk. They write about hormones and antibiotics. They conclude…

They conclude that a meat-free McDonald’s in India will be good for the people. We welcome these conclusions. We abide. We believe that the vegetarian McDonald’s is better than Ronald’s original goldenly arched meat box with a drive-through. We seem to forget that fast-food is fast-food. That fast-food is fake food. That fake food is not food.

You can’t compare pesticides and claim that ours are better. You can’t compare organic meat to the never-see-the-light-of-day meat and find some sort of neutrality. You can’t compare organic produce to inorganic produce and lay claim that there is no nutritional difference. Pesticides are poisons, regardless of how ours compare to theirs. Meat does the body no good, whether injected, allowed out on the grass for a few minutes, or harpooned at the ocean’s floor. We know nothing about nutrition, but we label it, count it, bottle it up, and sell it as factual.

Fictitious stories will be told. Safety limits will be modified. My advice…don’t be like Anna.

“Anna Hamadyk of Washington said she buys only organic milk because she has a young son.”

Anna Hamadyk buys her son organic milk because she is a moron. Don’t be offended. Being a moron is normal nowadays.
